I have over 10 years experience working within the human rights sector. Having started my activism at Gay and Lesbian Memory in Action (GALA Queer Archives) as an intern in 2011. In 2013 I founded two LGBTI human rights civil society organizations, Gays and Lesbians of Rustenburg (GLOR) which provides various services to the LGBTIQ+ community in Rustenburg and surrounding arears in the North West province. I also founded the University of South Africa's first LGBTI student structure called Gays and Lesbians of the University of South Africa (GLOUSA) based in Sunnyside & Mucklenuek campuses, Pretoria which lobby's and advocates for LGBTI issues within the University, catering for not only students but employees of the University.
